Introcan Safety 3

Introcan Safety 3 is a shielded IV catheter with a passive safety mechanism. The needle protection is activated automatically when the needle is pulled out, and irreversibly closes around the tip. As a result, the Introcan Safety 3 offers a high level of protection from needlestick injuries and complies with TRBA 250.

An integrated septum prevents blood from leaking from the catheter during application and during use. As a result, the Introcan Safety 3 is particularly safe for medical professionals, who are always protected from coming into contact with potentially infectious blood.
