FlexiOH® Short Leg Immobilizer

The washable FlexiOH® Short Leg Immobilizer from OrthoHeal is available in a range of sizes and is perfect for immobilizing fractures of the lower leg, ankle and foot. Unlike conventional plaster casts, the open areas allow for optimal air circulation, preventing moisture build-up due to perspiration. In combination with the biocompatible and soft padding, this not only increases wearing comfort, but also effectively reduces the risk of irritation or even injury to the skin.

With the help of the practical zip, the orthopaedic immobilizer can be quickly and easily attached to the patient's leg and removed without the need for equipment such as plaster saws or plaster spreaders. The cast is cured with the separately available Rizycure® light device and is completed after only 3 to 10 minutes. Thanks to the radiolucent material, the splint can be worn without any problems during X-ray examinations during progress checkups.
