FlexiOH® Radial Gutter Immobilizer

The lightweight and washable FlexiOH® Radial Gutter Immobilizer is designed for immobilization of radius, metacarpal and finger fractures. Thanks to the 46% of open areas, the all-round splint ensures optimal air circulation, which reduces sweating and therefore prevents unpleasant skin irritations. In combination with the biocompatible padding, which prevents direct contact between the splint and the skin, neither injuries nor irritations of the skin occur.

The OrthoHeal orthopaedic immobilization aid is equipped with a practical zip. In addition to easy and quick application of the radiolucent cast, this also ensures uncomplicated removal without additional devices such as plaster saws or plaster spreaders. Once the FlexiOH® Radial Gutter Immobiliser has been correctly positioned, it hardens within 3 - 10 minutes under the separately available Rizycure® light device. Until the diagnosed fracture is completely healed, it is not necessary to remove the OrthoHeal cast for X-ray examinations during progress checkups.
